School
Well, I woke up and remembered it was Friday. My favorite weekday. It turned out to be a pretty good one too. In tech lab we got to finish a movie, and in P.E. we got to play basketball. Then came language arts, which was easily the worst class of the day. We had an SAT Vocab quiz, and then had a boatload of busy work since we had a sub. Then came GA Studies, which was cut short by our school's homecoming parade. The homecoming parade was enjoyable and it lasted all the way through Science, too, so all I had left today was math. It was easy, I hardly had to write anything all day. I am pumped about tonight's high school football games.

Tonight
I just ate some delicious Chicken Pot Pie. I have yet to decide which high school football game to attend tomorrow night, both of which have beneficial activities occurring after the game. It will not be an easy decision. The way I see it, this is not a bad problem to have. Tomorrow will be my first normal day in school this week, seeing as all the others were early release days. It should be extra terrible.
Thursday Night College Football
As you know, I am a big North Carolina fan. I am currently watching the UNC-Virginia Tech Game. It has not been very exciting. Both offenses have had quite lackluster performances on offense, with the exception of NC's last drive. It has been a defensive battle. I want Virginia Tech to go down a loser tonight badly. Although I admire all of Virginia Tech's uniform schemes, I have never cared for Frank Beamer and care for very few of the professional athletes they produce. (i.e. Michael and Marcus (not pro) Vick, etc.). So please dissapoint the Hokies, Carolina.
Student Council Dysfunction
Just here to explain to you an issue that is really bugging the mess out of me. About a month and a half back, I was elected to my school's student council. I thought this would be a really exciting opportunity for me. Not only would I get to participate in the Student Council activities, but it is also a free ticket out of class, and at every meeting they give out Chick-fil-a Chicken Biscuits. The issue, however, is that there has not been a single meeting. This really ticks me off.
After School on Thursday, Oct.29
When I got home, I was greeted by my uncle. We conversated for a while, and then my dad brought me home what looked like a Chicken and Rice soup. It was surprisingly scrumptious. I love afternoons now that football is over.
School on Thursday, Oct. 29
School was horifically dumb today. I fail to realize why I bother to report to school on half days. First, I go to connections, another word for classes whose purpose is solely to add time to the day. My first connections class is Tech Lab, a class in which you are supposed to do "modules" on certain technology subjects, such as lasers, or digital photography. This sounds fun. Truth is, it would be, if any of the modules had the required equipment. Which they don't. I am currently in the Aerodynamics module. It bores me to the point where my brain feels numb. Today, however, our Tech lab teacher was not there, so we watched Simba star in "The Lion King". Then, I went to P.E. This may sound pitiful, but P.E. is usually the highlight of my day. Usually we do a fitness unit about every month, although it is only required twice a semester. But, when we actually do do normal P.E. activities, it is actually fun. Today, we jogged and then went into the gym to play basketball. I have to admit, I was balling pretty hard. I sunk two shots, had about 2 steals and 1 airball. But that's not important. After my connections classes were over, I went to my language arts class. My teacher is actually very nice and humorous, but sadly, her personality does not effect the boring nature of the class. For one thing, my classes contain few interesting people, so there are not many to chat with. As for the class, I have never really cared for grammar or language arts. I especially hate long packets on assigned novels. Well, today, we did just that: Endless grammar workbook pages and then a long packet on To Kill a Mockingbird. It was extremely dull. Then I moved on to Georgia Studies. I am usually quite fond of history, so this is a class I actually like. Today was especially good, because we were allowed to watch The Patriot, starring Mel Gibson. I enjoyed the taming of British redcoats for 75 minutes, and then moved on to Science, in which we only had 15 minutes because of the half day. Then came dismissal. I went to my respective bus, and began the ride home.
